Cellular aging-focused protocol with mitochondrial emphasis

Overview

The longevity stack is a longevity-research-specific variant that emphasizes cellular and mitochondrial aging mechanisms over the broader anti-aging stack. All four compounds target fundamental aging biology rather than visible signs of aging.

Peptides in This Stack

Stack Rationale

Epithalon addresses telomere biology. MOTS-c and Humanin are mitochondrial-derived peptides that decline with age — replenishing them targets age-related metabolic decline at the source. SS-31 stabilizes the inner mitochondrial membrane, addressing the structural side of mitochondrial dysfunction. The combination targets cellular aging at multiple levels.

Research Protocol

Research protocols vary widely. Sample protocol: Epithalon 5-10 mg subq daily for 10-20 day cycles, twice yearly. MOTS-c 5-10 mg subq 3x weekly. SS-31 (elamipretide) dosing depends on indication; research literature has used 4-60 mg/day. Humanin or HNG analog dosing is poorly established.

The above represents protocols reported in research literature and research community use. These are not recommendations for human dosing or self-administration.

Reported Research Outcomes

Longevity outcomes require years to assess. Researchers commonly track epigenetic age (Horvath clocks, etc.), grip strength, VO2 max, fasting insulin, and inflammatory markers.

Cautions & Considerations

This is one of the more speculative peptide protocols. SS-31 and Humanin have limited research-grade vendor quality. The cost is substantial. Long-term safety data for any of these compounds in healthy researchers is absent.
