Purpose
PeptideHQ teaches research literacy. It does not recommend products, rank compounds for health goals, or instruct readers how to use a compound.
Sources we use
Factual health and regulatory statements must link directly to the authoritative record supporting them. Preferred sources are:
- FDA pages, review records, and official labeling found through Drugs@FDA.
- NIH and National Library of Medicine resources.
- Original literature records located through PubMed.
- Official study records and submitted results on ClinicalTrials.gov.
- Official prescribing information when discussing an FDA-approved product's documented status.
Sources we do not treat as authority
Retail pages, affiliate pages, social posts, anonymous anecdotes, search snippets, and unsourced summaries are not evidence for factual health or regulatory claims.
Claim rules
- Name the evidence type and study population or model.
- Keep association, mechanism, study registration, and product approval distinct.
- Do not convert laboratory or animal findings into conclusions about people.
- Do not infer regulatory status from a compound name; verify the exact product record.
- Link factual claims near the sentence they support and include an authoritative-source list.
- Paraphrase sources and avoid extended copying.
- Show publication and last-reviewed dates on every substantive page.
Review limitations
The site owner is not a medical professional. No medical, scientific, pharmaceutical, or legal reviewer is represented unless that person's identity, credentials, role, and approval are truthfully documented on the relevant page.
Corrections
Material errors are corrected in the public page and its last-reviewed date is updated. See the editorial and corrections policy for the reporting method.
